AMA Summer Camps 2025

Join a band, write songs, and perform them, all in ONE super-fun week!

Anderson Music Academy is proud to present an exciting new summer camp for kids ages 5-11. Developed by industry-leading innovator Brooklyn Music Factory!

Campers each week are grouped into one of two groups, sorted by age:

Mini Keys: Ages 5-7
Jam Band 101: Ages 8-11

Kids join our fun, music-loving community and learn how to work together in a supportive group setting. Groups are small, no more than 6 kids per band!

Through our game-based curriculum, bands write lots and lots of original songs. There’s a special feeling of accomplishment kids get when playing a song they wrote together—and all campers get to enjoy it. No experience required!

At AMA Jr, campers of all ages will get to play a gig at the end of the week for fellow campers! Kids LOVE showing off their new skills and the work they created! Performing is a fantastic way to build confidence and celebrate how far they've come! Every performance is live-streamed and recorded for families!

At Anderson Music Academy, we want our campers to have the time of their lives! Every activity, whether writing a song with your band or playing music games, is designed for maximum fun!

AMA Rock Band Camp

This high-energy, five-day camp is perfect for musicians who want to experience playing in a real rock band. From classic hits to modern anthems, students will learn to perform together, develop stage presence, and build confidence while having a blast!

Participants will:
🎤 Play in a rock band and learn new songs
🎸 Develop performance and stage presence skills
🥁 Improve teamwork and musical communication
🎼 Learn about song structure, dynamics, and arrangement
🎶 Perform in a final showcase for family and friends

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, this camp is the perfect place to turn up the volume, make new friends, and have fun!

Open to guitarists, bassists, drummers, vocalists, and keyboardists of all skill levels.

🎷🎶 Swing into Summer with Jazz! 🎶🎷

AMA Jazz Camp

Designed for musicians who want to explore the world of jazz, this camp will have students grooving to classic and contemporary jazz tunes while developing improvisation skills, ensemble playing, and jazz theory.

Participants will:
🎵 Play in a jazz ensemble and learn new repertoire
🎺 Improve improvisation and soloing techniques
🎼 Develop rhythmic feel, dynamics, and phrasing
🎷 Work with experienced jazz instructors
🎤 Perform in a final showcase for family and friends

Whether you're a seasoned player or new to jazz, this camp is the perfect place to grow musically, make new friends, and have fun! Open to intermediate and advanced instrumentalists.
